June 2026 – Church Events & Announcements...

Sermon of the Month✨

Philippians 1:6
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.”

Many people feel unfinished. We see our weaknesses, delays, struggles, and inconsistencies, and wonder whether real change is happening at all. But Philippians 1:6 gives us a steady promise: God finishes what He starts.

This message focuses on the good work of God within us. The fulfilment we are waiting for is not only external — in circumstances, answers, breakthroughs, or open doors. It is also internal. God is shaping our hearts, strengthening our faith, refining our character, and drawing us closer to Christ.

When we feel discouraged by slow progress, this verse reminds us that spiritual growth is a work of grace. God is patient, faithful, and committed to completing His work in His people.

This week will encourage us not to give up on ourselves, not to despise the process, and not to lose confidence in God’s ability to finish what He began.

Welcome to June at LFCC Kalamunda! 🕊️

This month, we begin a new series on Saturday, 06 June: The Fulfilment Is Coming

Sometimes life feels unfinished. We pray, wait, believe, and keep going — but the promise still seems far away. We may pass through seasons that feel like fire and water, moments that test our faith, stretch our patience, and reveal what we are truly trusting in.

Yet Scripture reminds us that God does not abandon what He begins. He brings His people through. He keeps them in peace. He receives the hearts they pour out before Him. And because He is faithful, what He has spoken, He will make good.

This June, LFCC Kalamunda will journey through The Fulfilment Is Coming — a series about trusting God in the process, finding peace while we wait, and holding firmly to His promise that He will complete what He has started.

Whether you are carrying disappointment, waiting for direction, believing for restoration, or simply needing fresh encouragement, this series is an invitation to lift your eyes again and remember: God is still working, and the fulfilment is coming.

Psalm 66:12
“You have caused men to ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; but You brought us out to rich fulfillment.”

The journey to fulfilment is not always easy. Psalm 66 speaks honestly about hardship — seasons where life feels overwhelming, painful, and beyond our control. The image of passing through fire and water reminds us that God’s people are not strangers to trials, pressure, or uncertainty.

But the verse does not end in the fire. It does not end in the water. It ends with God bringing His people out into rich fulfilment.

This first message will help us see that difficulty does not mean God has forgotten us. Trials can refine our character, deepen our dependence on God, and prepare us for what He is bringing us into. The fulfilment God promises is not just about arriving somewhere better; it is also about who He forms us to become along the way.

This week invites us to look back with honesty, look forward with hope, and trust that the God who brought us through before is able to bring us through again.

Isaiah 26:3
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

Waiting can unsettle the heart. When fulfilment has not yet arrived, our minds can become crowded with fear, questions, pressure, and “what ifs.” Isaiah 26:3 speaks directly into that inner battle, offering the promise of perfect peace to the person whose mind is stayed on God.

This message will explore how peace is not found in having every answer, controlling every outcome, or seeing the full picture ahead of time. True peace is found in trust — in fixing our thoughts on the character, faithfulness, and presence of God.

The fulfilment may still be ahead, but peace is available now.

This week will help us reflect on what we allow to shape our thoughts, where we run when we feel anxious, and how trust in God can steady us even when life around us feels uncertain.

Numbers 23:19
“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?”

Jeremiah 29:13
“And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.”

The final message brings the series to a place of confidence and response. Numbers 23:19 reminds us that God’s faithfulness is not like human uncertainty. He does not lie, forget, manipulate, or speak empty words. What He has spoken, He is able to fulfil.

But Jeremiah 29:13 also reminds us that fulfilment is not separate from relationship. God invites His people to seek Him wholeheartedly. The promise is not simply that we will receive something from God, but that we will find God Himself.

This final week will encourage us to trust God’s Word, return to Him with our whole heart, and stand in faith even when the timing feels long. The fulfilment is coming because the One who promised is faithful.

We close the month remembering this truth: God’s promises are sure, His presence is near, and those who seek Him will not seek Him in vain.
